Suggested Questions And Answer :

My dog pushes his dog bowls around the floor and it makes a horrid noise, scratches my tiled floor and the water sometimes spills

I bought my dog a bowl with a rubber ring around the bottom a bit like this one http://www.petstore.com/Loving_Pets_Corp._Silver_Bullet_Stainless_Steel_Dish_Dog_Bowls_Stands-Loving_Pets_Corp.-PE07262-DGBFBS-vi.html. This not only solves the problem of the noise and scratches it also prevented my dog from being able to move it very far.

My dog is a very sloppy drinker. Whenever she drinks from her water bowl I am convinced that more water ends up on my floor than in her mouth. Can anyone recommend a solution for this? Is there such a thing as a spill proof water bowl?

Actually there is. You will be happy to know that there are several brands of spill proof water bowls for dogs. I will send you a few links so that you can check them out. http://www.gundogsupply.com/buddy-bowl-spill-proof-water-bowl.html http://store.greatamericanspillproof.com/ http://www.amazon.com/Water-Hole-Bowl-Anti-Splash/dp/B0002DGVW6

My dog has a plastic dog bowl and I find that the water in it goes a funny color

Plastic dog bowls are quite cheap however I wouldn't recommend using them. Plastic absorbs toxins and this could cause health problems for your dog. Also dogs are natural chewers and they will more than likely chew a plastic bowl when left to their own devises. I would invest a bit more money on a metal dish, they are clean, long lasting, indestructible and safe.

Water calculator IF YOU HAVE PET DOGS HOW MUCH EXTRA WATER WOULD YOU USE TO KEEP YOUR KITCHEN CLEAN

Keep your dog clean, make sure you have it shampooed and you should brush your dog daily. You don't need extra water, just use Swiffer, both wet and dry, and your floors should be clean.

My dog is home most of the day by himself and I worry that his bowl water l is always empty when I come home

It's possible that your dog is drinking a lot of water while you are out - there are water bowls that replenish themselves a bit like the water dispensers you find in an office, I found one here http://www.petstore.com/Petmate_Petmate_Caf%C3%A9_Dog_Automatic_Feeders_Waterers-Petmate_(Doskocil)-DK24405-DGBFAU-vi.html they are not that expensive and you will probably get some peace of mind while you are out.

I am looking for a good bowl to use for my dogs water while travelling long hours in the car. The bowl we use at home is not sturdy enough and water is constantly spilling from it. Does anyone know of a travel friendly/safe water bowl?

You should look into the Road Refresher Dog Bowl from Jolly Pets. We use it on our road trips and it is amazing. There hasn't been one spill yet! Here's a site where you can get some more information on this product - http://www.pet-dog-cat-supply-store.com/shop/index.php?page=shop-flypage-33306#addtocartthing

My dog's SmartPets 4in1 Dog Training Shock and Vibration Collar has stopped working

It seems like your batteries have run out - you can buy new batteries from here http://www.amazon.com/PetSafe-6-Volt-Lithium-Battery-Batteries/dp/B0009811TW/ref=pd_sim_petsupplies_8 The battery is very easy to change, the handset also runs on batteries but they are AA and can be purchased from your local store.

I am going on vacation and am trying to find pet sitter for my dog. Is there someone or a boarding area that I could take her? She is a super sweet dog. Thanks for the help in advance.

Since I assume you don't want to travel too far with your dog, would you care to place some geographical restrictions on your question? There are many excellent petsitters and boarding kennels, and some of them are probably further away than you're going on your vacation (unless you're planning a round-the-world trip).
